Short-Curriculum

Born in São Paulo City, São Paulo State - Brazil, on December, 1965.
Received B. Statitstics degree from Campinas University - UNICAMP - Brazil, in 1988.
Professor and researcher at the Department of Statistics at the campus of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), João Pessoa, from April 1991. He got promoted to a Full Professor of UFPB defending the thesis "New Algorithm for Training Evaluation Using Gaussian Naive Bayes Network with Fuzzy Parameters" in June 2015.
Received the MsC. Eletric Eng. degree from Federal University of Paraíba - Brazil, in 1992.
He was Statistics Laboratory Coordinator in the 1992 and 1993.
He is statistics consultant to the Human Sciences and Engeneering.
Received the PhD degree in Applied Computing at National Institute for Space Research - INPE - Brazil, in 1998. The degree was obtained with the thesis "A Fuzzy Expert Systems architeture for Image Classification Using Mathematical Morphology Operators".
He was Statistics Course Coordinator, from 1999 to 2000.
Accomplished his pos-PhD in the Laboratory of Integrated Systems of Polytechinique School of USP from 2000 to 2001.
He is the Coordinator of Laboratory of Technologies for Virtual Learning - LabTEVE - of Department of Statistics since 2002.
Boss of the Department of Statistics from 2002 to 2004.
He is the Coordinator of Laboratory of Applied Statistics for Image Processing and Geoprocessing - LEAPIG - of Department of Statistics since 2004.
He is a Scholarship in Technological Development of Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development, Level 2, since july, 2006.
He was the Coordinator of Posgraduate Program in Decision Models and Health (Master and PhD degrees) between October, 11, 2008 and October, 10, 2012.
He was the Vice Coordinator of Posgraduate Program in Decision Models and Health (Master and PhD degrees) from October, 11, 2012 to October, 10, 2014.
Accomplished his second pos-PhD in the Institut de Recherche en Informatique (IRIT) at Universidade de Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier, at Toulouse, France, from January to July, 2013.
